I have never written a review for anywhere on Yelp, but I feel like this information needs to be shared. Every since the first day that I have taken my dog to see Dr. Brenes at Our Pet's Vet, we were fed lies and disappointing news continuously for one year. I am new to the area so I wanted to find somewhere that I could trust. Well, this place is the exact opposite. I do apologize to her staff for this review because they are all extremely kind and helpful. Unfortunately Dr. Brenes has decided to focus on her income rather than her morals, by telling her customers that their pets have multiple health problems (some fatal) and pushing them into spending more money and time on x-rays, medications and services that are completely unnecessary. Not only did she suggest surgeries, yes more than one, and visits to a cardiologist and medication for my dog that she did not need, but she has done all of these things to two other dog owners that I know very well. After a final stressful phone call with Dr. Brenes and on the verge of tears, I decided enough was enough, I care about my dog more than myself and I want another opinion. I researched multiple vets throughout Orange County and took my dog to be examined at three different places to see what their professional opinions were. Well, after I received the wonderful news that my dog was fine from ALL THREE DOCTORS, I decided to become a new client of one of them and I brought the other two dog owners from Our Pets Vet with me. We are all glad we made the change and are still disgusted by Dr. Brenes false diagnosis. Shame on you Dr. Brenes. Please stop taking advantage of your customers to make an extra buck. You will be caught by more individuals like myself one day.

She did surgery on my dog for something he didn't need, and we had to put him down cause she didn't do it right, then still charged $2500.00 for his surgery... Never take your animal to her !!!!
