Anne Laptin is an individual, couple and family therapist specializing in anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, and relationship issues. She is a bilingual Spanish speaking psychotherapist with extensive experience working with blended families, the LGBTQ community, and those in the midst of life transitions. She maintains a full-time private practice in Mission Viejo, CA. Therapy is an active collaboration and I tailor my approach to each individual using psychodynamic, developmental, systems and cognitive behavioral approaches. I work hard to help my clients find insight, confidence, healing and to effect real, meaningful change in their lives and relationships. Anne Laptin holds an MS from Columbia University and is an LCSW in Southern California. Her expertise is in the treatment of anxiety, bipolar disorder, and grief as well as navigating life transitions and co-parenting. After teaching in Guatemala for two years, Anne provided assessments for young children at-risk for developmental disabilities in San Diego. Being fluent in Spanish, much of her early work focused on the needs of Spanish speaking immigrants. She has treated individuals in a variety of settings including a community mental health center and an adolescent group home. Anne has been in private practice in southern California since 2008.
