Great Service day in and day out! They come to collect regardless of the weather. More than you can say for another one of the carriers here in town.

Great Service. Picks up anything I put out. While other trash services have a limit on how many bags you put out he doesn't. Always returned phone calls. May not be the same day but they are returned.

While most of the time the trash was picked up regularly, I am only giving one star due to his lack of personal communication skills. No one likes to be talked to like they're an idiot. I called about 3 months after we started service because a holiday landed on our pick up day and I didn't know when we could expect our trash to be picked up. He seemed very put off by my question, and informed me rather rudely that he had told me this when we moved in. Litterally, we were in the middle of moving stuff in! Like I'm supposed to remember that! In addition, our cans are always left strewn about the yard, and have had to take to not putting the lids on the cans because one day we came home from work to find our lids halfway down the block from the wind. The holiday pick up issue and the thrown about cans could have been overlooked had the driver/owner possessed a more pleasant demeanor. Bottom line: his customer service stinks!

Shirar is as good as it gets!!! They are very dependable and affordable. Customer service is always above what is expected. Since I've started having their services I've referred them to three other friends who have been just as happy as I've been so far. Over a year with them and still smiling.

Very poor customer service and will only pick up very limited number of additional bags. Seemed to be bothered by having customers.

As far as customer service goes, there was a minor dispute that could have been settled with civil conversation. However, the representative I spoke with proceeded to inform me that I should "get up early, like the rest of us". I doubt he knew that I worked 2nd shift. Further, he began to argue with me about the time I put the trash out. I was incredible displeased about the spirit he had during the conversation. It is possible that I may have been harsh in my voicemail when I called, but I am his customer and therefore deserve some respect....even if he preceived me to be wrong. I put "decent service" because the timing of trash pick up was sporatic at times. Sometimes early in the morning and sometimes later that morning and I was never told a specific range of time that he would come. If I had that information, I would have put it out the night before like I usually did.I would recommend them picking your trash up but I wouldn't recommend you ever calling with an issue

Great customer service and dependability. The other individuals who rated this company must have took advantage or not paid their bill. The bag limit is within reason. They have never missed me. If they are not going to pick up they call and they take care of my cans. The driver is the owner. How many companies can say that? I asked the other day and they've been in buisness for 15 years.
