We went to S and H RV Park to stay for the Round Top Antiques Fair. The park is located amongst several cow pastures, and the neighbors get occasionally loud in a bucolic kind of way- "moosic" to one's ears. The amenities are a bit thin, no pool, clubhouse, laundry or comfort station, but the owners make up for it in helpful, friendly, and personal service. This is NOT your typical KOA! Here, the management is around almost all the time if needed, willing to do what is needed to make your stay comfortable and complete. In addition, the campground has a catfish pond, out among the aforementioned neighbors. There I was able to catch several 5-7 lb channel catfish, on weenies, no less! While we were basically looking for a place to park our rig for a few days, we got so much more. Go and experience this out-in-the-boonies gem for yourself!
