I took this course during Saturdays during fall quarter, and what I learned in just 11 weeks far exceeded my expectations. Each class was extremely well planned out and well executed. Danielle teaches her students in a way that makes sense for the real world, and in a real dental office. Each lesson was thought provoking and builds from the information we were provided with the week before. We were constantly quizzed and questioned on the material for maximum retention, and Danielle took it upon herself to teach in a way that would be most beneficial to each of us. The way the training center is set up is pretty genius. During the first couple weeks of the course, we were in the classroom, which is equipped with every possible school utensil and dental material required to truly understand what we were learning. Danielle is an amazing teacher who is extremely knowledgeable able the dental field and truly cares about the success of her students. I would recommend this course!

I recently graduated from the Dental Assistant Training Center and have nothing but good words for this program and its instructors. Danielle and her staff were helpful, caring and dedicated to my success in the program. Although I already had a position as an assistant-in-training, DATC provided me the tools I needed to apply what I was learning. And let me tell you, everything you learn during the 11 week course is current, applicable and very valuable in a career as a Dental Assistant. Danielle is an incredible teacher and wants nothing but her students to succeed, spending whatever time you need 1:1 or during class to review and make sure you are "job ready" when you graduate. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in a career in the dental field. Thank you, Danielle!

I just graduated from The Dental Assistant Training Center and I couldn't be happier with the training and experience that I got there. Danielle & Rachel were both so helpful and explained things to where it was easy and fun to learn! 1 week after graduating I have received about 10-12 call backs for interviews.. I went on 3 working interviews and was offered all 3 positions.. I was so happy to be able to choose which position worked best for me and I am so excited to be in this field. Danielle is the sweetest instructor and she truly cares about her students, she will definitely be a life long friend for me :)

They seem very friendly and professional at first but beware. This place is very sketchy. I paid in full before the quarter started and they overcharged me. They took a really long time responding to my phone calls and emails regarding the tuition overcharge. Even after they reimbursed me, they took a long time answering questions I had about the program. Their lack of professionalism lead me to question whether this was a program I really wanted to participate in. They keep saying they will send me a refund for tuition but it's been nearly two months now.

I wished I could of did more research of this program. If the instructor says lots of people found jobs from taking her program then why can't she invite them over and they can explain for themselves? Don't just rely on some nice comments here or post cards. Thank you and good luck.

I graduated from the Dental Assistant Training Center in March 2012. I did not look for work right away due to having a baby right after graduation. I contacted Danielle to have her help me refresh my skills and she came in on her own personal time to help me update my skills and my resume. I have been on several interviews in the past few weeks and was just hired today in a office that was looking for someone with 2 years experience. Thank you thank you Danielle for all of your support and your amazing ability to teach dental assisting with such patience and clarity. You have helped change my life.

The Dental Assistant Training Center is a great program. I am currently enrolled in the program and have just finished my 3rd week of class. I began observing in an office last week where another person was observing, who had been enrolled in Everest for 6 months. The dentist was so impressed with what I had already learned in class that he has decided to hire me for an upcoming maternity leave position in his office over the other girl. The instructors are amazing and having an actual dental office to learn in has made the past few weeks great. I would recommend the Dental Assistant Training Center to anyone.

My experience with the Dental Assistant Training Centet was excellent. The small class size was great. The best part of this school is the chair side assisting with the dentist and hygienist. The school is very organized and teaches you what you new to get out in the field and begin your career. Danielle and the other instructors were very helpful with my resume and assisting with job placement. I actually acquired a job during the 4th week of class and love the office I am in. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking to become a dental assistant.

I recently graduated DATC in 2010. I loved the school so much. The instructors truly made me want to learn and come to class and their willingness to help us all find jobs and graduate to the best of out ability still blows me away. They are truly one of a kind and have such a heart for teaching as well as dentistry. This school is hard because you have to study a lot, but if you put your heart into it you will do great. upon graduation I applied to every dental office in town, and regularly checked for openings. A month later I found a job full time with full benefits, and great pay. I'm not saying everyone will have this luck, but if you search hard you will eventually find something. Don't get discouraged either with people not wanting to hire because of lack of experience just be patient! Also, if you do well in the course you will get a great recommendation from your instructor. I would HIGHLY recommend this course to anyone who is serious about it. It is worth every penny!

I enrolled in January 2008 at the DATC, graduated in March 2008 and found a position 2 weeks before I graduated. Actually, there were 1 other girl in my class that started working almost 2 months into the program. I was the only dental assistant in my office and I think that everything I was taught helped me as I was thrust into my new job with only me to rely on. Since then, there were other assistants who came (supposedly from the "better" schools) who lacked the simple knowledge of an upper and lower universal forcep. Or how to take PA's. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a new career in dental assisting.
