Provided by YP.comDavid does a great job fixing your bike. He's completely sincere about what you need to do (and not do anymore) to keep your bike in optimum shape and he'll let you know if a repair is even worth your time. He knows what he's talking about and what he's doing and he cares about you and what you're looking for in a bike. He's welcoming and fair, and the atmosphere of the shop is inviting.

Provided by YP.comI went to Waldo Bikes looking for some help/insight into replacing my road tires. I had a flat and had asked whether I should purchase "hard cased" tires given that I want to use my bike as a commuter bike. The owner told me that "I'm asking a lot for the type setup I have" given my weight. He said “I should drop 50 lbs" or buy a mountain bike instead. He was quick to tell me that he was getting a shipment the following week. So I took my business elsewhere. Midwest Cyclery Inc on Broadway in KCMO was a much better experience.

Provided by YP.comSmall shop with limited inventory - salesman did not seem to want to sell me a bike and had a few "smart" remarks referring to my size and build. Really small and dated site - I took his comments in stride right to another nearby store and spent my $500 elsewhere. Strange sales technique, small inventory and strange smell. Do yourself a favor and go to any other shop in the city.
Very pushy sales tactics I went in for an inner tube and the guy kept trying to sell me a new bike.
