      The only care I saw for my mother was to be pushed to meals. The rehab area was better but then they lost sight of my mom when she was walking the halls as directed.

      This place has nurses who you never see much and aides who don't care. The only good thing about it is the rehab department. place needs new beds, furniture and staff.

      Provena Villa Franciscan is a more than 170-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility providing services to the elderly in Joliet and surrounding communities in Illinois. It provides posthospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care services to the elderly. Additionally, it provides intermediate care and long-and short-term skilled care services. Its facilities include Cambridge Unit, Stratford Unit, Venetian Unit and Damiano Unit. Its Damiano Unit provides specialized care for residents suffering from dementia. Its Cambridge Unit is a Medicare-certified subacute unit providing wound care, and rehabilitation and intravenous therapy services to short-term patients. It additionally provides orthopedic, postoperative care, cardiac rehabilitation, stroke care and recovery, pain management and tracheostomy and respiratory services. Its rehabilitation services include physical, occupational, and speech therapies and treatment for brain injuries. The facility is owned by Provena Senior Services, a division of Provena Health.
