If your in need of a nursing home in Hudson County, I would Highly recommend Liberty House, from the owners to the administrator to the best nursing staff, my mother every last need was accommodated during her stay after her fall. I am writing this review to thank Liberty House Nursing Home Staff, for taking such amazing care of my grandmother for the six weeks she was there. My Grandmother broke her hip in early November and was in the hospital for nearly two weeks, when she was discharged we need to send her to a facility which obviously had therapy, but where we knew she would be taken care of to her very last need,we inquired where to send and the Doctors and social workers all highly recommend Liberty House. The staff at Liberty House was truly amazing, kudos to Gary in the therapy Department for helping my Grandmother walk again. We would also like to thank the director of nurses Astride Clark, for all of your help, you were compassionate, caring and extremly devoted to the care of our Grandmother and for that we are enternally grateful. I am writing to complain about your staff while visiting my grandmother a patient was pulling my hand multiple times she informed me that she had to use the bathroom. There were two of your staff persons in the roomm I immediatly notified them of the situation after acknowledging me they proceeded to talk ignoring the request. Be advised the patient was very uncomfortable and had an odor, this occurred on the second floor March 25th. On March 29th I went back to the facility to see my grandmother and upon leaving her room she called out to me and said that she urinated in the bed because she was told by the Aide that if she needed to use the restroom to go in the bed. I immediately went to the front desk where there were three staff members sitting. I informed them of the situation and they looked at me and continued to sit there and talk. I am soo upset I didn't want to get irrate and loud because I didn't want them to mistreat my grandmother even more. Something MUST be done!!
