I want to emphasize the positive impact my recent experience with receiving a paid voucher for perscription eyewear. The entire process was handled with descretion and efficiency. Currently experiencing economic uncertainity, I suddenly became unable to have my eye glasses replaced after a corrective lens was lost during my work day. I shortly thereafter have become unemployeed, having lost financial means to support my replacement glasses. Without these corrective lens all hope of recovering was becoming a hardship as driving was so impaired. The loss of my job is tragedic enough, but to be without vision as well I deemed my situation as hopeless. The suggestion to visit the Samaritan Center was offered by a friend, I was deeply impressed how much compassion the staff had for this circumstance. Ever be it so humble to need support and receive it as well. Thank God and thank you all who contribute to this community outreach program.
