To meet the increasing demands for rare-earth products and other materials, we enlarged the variety and the scale of the materials supplied, to serve not only our R&D customers but also downstream manufacturers in the e.g. ceramic, metallurgy, electronic and aviation industries. Shortly after the foundation, we owned a website, www.stanfordmaterials.com, as a new business channel for our target customers to better know us, contact us, advise us and buy from us. During almost two decades of development, our annual revenue keeps growing rapidly since the establishment and reached over 10 million US dollar by the year of 2007. Three years later, we opened an office in Shanghai, China, aiming at expanding our business to this booming and promising market, together with other emerging ones. SAM is now specialized in both high-purity chemicals (up to 99.99999%) for research institutes and technical grade materials for advanced industries.
