      I'm new to Iowa City, was looking for a nice place to grab coffee. Went to a few places, but this one stood out the most. The space was very open and laid back. They have an extensive list of coffee and tea options. Their espresso drinks are top notch and my favorite is any latte in a small, 8oz! size. The other great thing they have are sandwiches made with local fresh bread, makes a yummy lunch or late evening study snack.

      The High Ground Cafe has an open, relaxed atmosphere were you can get some of the best coffee, always ground fresh to order. We have excellent all organic tea options which include loose leaf and flowering teas. Stop in for a fresh fruit smoothie made with no concentrates or frozen puree. Our lemonade is fresh squeezed and we do lunch too! Made to order sandwich, soups and salads. Using locally made fresh bread! A light fair that's affordable.
