      The Firemen's Home is more than 120-acres facility that provides a range of services for seniors. Its inpatient services include internal nutrition and assessment, patient and family counseling, intake and output monitoring, and physical, occupational and speech therapies. The Firemen's Home provides cable television, videocassette recorder and access to inhouse movie system. The retirement community s activities include gardening, shuffleboard, billiard, karaoke and playing cards. It also provides chapel, commissary, and beauty parlor and barber shop services. The retirement community also arranges trips for residents to local restaurants, sectional meetings and ballgames. The Firemen's Home is licensed by the New York State Department of Health and is located in Hudson, N.Y.
