General Info

Dr. R.T. Carter II D.D.S was born in Martinsville, Virginia. He moved to Richmond in 1993 and graduated Magna Cum Laude 1997 from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Carter went directly to Dental School and graduated Cum Laude from the Medical College of Virginia in 2001. He proceeded to the VA Hospital in Hampton, Virginia where he did a one year surgical residency. After spending two years in Cleveland, Ohio with his wife Sobia Carter, where she completed her pediatric dental residency, they moved back to Richmond in 2004. Dr. Carter has two children, Thomas and Carson. He enjoys golfing and cooking in his spare time.
