      Shodair Children s Hospital specializes in the treatment of children s psychiatric and genetic disorders. It provides services for children and adolescents who are suffering from emotional, mental and behavioral problems. Its facilities includes acute, children and adolescent units. Its children s unit serves the needs of patients between 3 and 12 years of age. It offers complete nursing care that includes counseling, empathetic support and therapeutic intervention. The hospital also conducts various research programs and works closely with local colleges to provide clinical experiences for baccalaureate nursing students. In addition, it provides internships in nursing management and leadership through a mentoring program.
