I have been going there for over a year, thinking it takes time to meet people etc. This church does NOT make one feel a part of the congregation, in fact, after a year I STILL feel like an outsider. The people there are very cliqish, very few make the effort to even speak unless they have known you for years. They are not open to any new ideas, nor do they appear to want "new blood". They are very much into the old "it's always been done this way and we are not going to chage" mentality. They don't show much interest in gaining new congregants. I approached several times just to learn and join the ladies auxillary and have even asked about it, and after a year am still waiting for someone to fill me in. Asking does no good, you get a nod and a smile and then nothing. I am actively seeking a new church hoe where I can feel involved and feel like I am contributing something positive. These folks simply are not interested.
