Overall the Dr himself isn�t bad, but his receptionists are absolutely horrible. Calling to make the appointment should have been my first indicator this was a bad idea. I couldn�t get help on the phone because they were busy according to them and I guess I�m a less important patient. This was then confirmed during the visit. They are just rude and horrible. I waited over 30 minutes from my scheduled appointment time and finally walked out. After expressing to the receptionists that I was leaving, as I�ve been waiting forever, they told me �well the appointment after you came early so we put him in� Again, I�m not important. And no remorse or apology for wasting my time!!!! Never once any type of acknowledgment. Horrible and incompetent people!!

Dr. Vanderyajt is very professional, soft spoken, and gives a very thorough exam. I was beyond pleased with my experience.

I've been going to Dr. Vanderyajt for years. He's very professional and I appreciate being able to get a quick appointment on a Saturday morning. Plus, barely had to wait in the waiting room. I wear progressives, which can be difficult to get used to, but they did a good job of explaining them. And, I like that they always have trendy glasses.

We didn't have the phone number or a phone book so we just stopped in for a card. Older receptionist said snappy, how we could have looked in the phone book. Ok. Still went home and checked our calendar to make an appt.. When I called, I was left on hold then hung up on. Then I called back and she asked (with attitude) for everything except our blood type. I was annoyed only because this rude person was making this harder than it should be. When I spoke, she would cut me off saying something else. After she cut me off more than 5 times I told her that it is rude to speak when others are speaking. She was still trying to speak over me. I told her I have no respect for her because she has none for me because you don't treat people like this. I said I would go elsewhere and she saod thank you and hung up. I do not feel that I should go somewhere else because the receptionist is rude. The doctor is great. Been going there for years. I am not leaving this alone. It's not right!
