Extremely professional and outstanding work. Have been going here for years and the work has always been on point. Also works very quickly and can do just about anything within a couple of hours if needed.

I would have to say even though Akims did receive a good rating as far as Providence businesses, something has happened with his alterations. I was told that Akim is not the only one in the business doing the alterations and that others do them. I was very unhappy with the sleeve alterations on my woolen coat. One sleeve was sewn properly, the other sleeve had the lining pulling on the coat so this caused the sleeve to buckle. Apparently the finished product was not checked by Akim before bagging the item. If it had been, the buckling would have been noticed immediately. I was planning on wearing the coat the day it was picked up and could not. Be sure to properly check any of their work before paying for a finished product. This is one of two mistakes that has occurred since we have been using the place.
