Marchal & Marchal, Ltd. is a general practice firm that has provided a broad range of legal services to the citizens of Darke County and surrounding communities since 1947, with particular emphasis and experience in personal injury, litigation, real estate, business planning and wealth transfer, estate planning and probate. In 1958, John F. Marchal joined Marchal & Marchal. He became a partner in 1969. John Marchal, the son of John F. Marchal, began practicing in 1996. He returned to Darke County in 2001, after five years in practice in Dayton and Cincinnati. In 2007, John F. Marchal and his son, John Marchal, formed Marchal & Marchal, Ltd. Areas of practice: Estate planning, elder law & probate A full range of estate planning, probate avoidance and Medicaid planning services, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, medicaid and powers of attorney. We provide all legal services in connection with estates. Real estate A broad range of services, including deeds, mortgages, title examinations, title insurance, real estate closings, real estate contracts and business buy/sell agreements. Business services Business planning, including the formation of corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and limited liability partnerships. Personal injury/ litigation Over 50 years of experience in personal injury, wrongful death, auto & motor cycle accidents, animal attacks and uninsured/ underinsured claims. No charge for initial consultation. You pay us only if we recover funds for you. Trial representation for plaintiffs and defendants at all stages of civil litigation, including appellate work. Criminal law and traffic Legal defense for DUI, traffic offenses, felonies and misdemeanors.
