Your pet ages an average of seven years to our one year therefore, changes in body conditions can occur rapidly. If your pet is off of preventative for over two months, they need to be retested before they can be put back on heartworm preventative. MicrochippingbrTo help reunite your lost pet with their family we offer HomeAgain Microchips. Wellness ScreenbrWe now offer a wellness screen at you annual examination, this is a simple blood test designed to detect problems that would go unnoticed otherwise. This screen can alert us to infection, inflammatory disease, and anemia. Early detection of disease is key once a problem is identified we can make appropriate recommendations at a point when treatment can make the most difference. Hill's Prescription DietbrWe offer a wide variety of prescription foods that can be an aid to certain health problems. Often, when a problem is identified through a wellness screen, a simple change in diet can help to avoid major health problems. Dental Prophylaxis brRegular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use ultrasonic cleaning, and our technician polishes the teeth to create a smooth tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. We also do tooth extractions when needed. ElectrocardiographybrWe provide ECG services on site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists. In-house LaboratorybrOur in house lab provides for complete blood counts, blood chemistry analysis, heartworm and parasite testing, feline leukemia and feline AIDS testing, urinalysis and fecal examinations.
