Poor 1998 Honda Civic - - Ed Keeler - 4/4/2015 - commentI purchased a 1998 Honda Civic in Oct 2014. It had a bad MAP sensor causing codes and had to be replaced. Bad shift cable which also had to be replaced. Drove it from Greenwood to Muncie and now the transmission is slipping between gears. Replaced the shift solenoids and still same problem. Been trying to solve this issue for over 4 months. Went to AAMCO and they say it needs a transmission at a cost of over $2000. I guess this is my fault as I did not bring it to a mechanic before purchase. Be careful with this dealer!
