It is possible you will read this review on multiple sites only to make sure that I did my due diligence to explain my experience with All My Sons Moving & Storage in Greensboro.

Long and short of it:
• I was quoted a reasonable price for my move - a fairly complicated one on two different dates with multiple storage units
• I budgeted for more than that just to be safe
• And ended up paying WAY more than that. Not okay if you ask me…

I moved boxes and furniture from our townhouse to a storage unit to start with before we could get access to our new house. Honestly, that part went very smoothly. The guys that came and moved my wife and I out were very nice, worked hard, and were very efficient. Overall I was pleased even though I was paying a little more than expected.

Then came the move from the storage units to our new house a few weeks later. This was DISASTEROUS. First of all, I called and requested the same crew and same size truck I got last time (per the last moving crews recommendation). I got neither…

We were assigned an afternoon job which I wasn’t pleased about but went along with. The crew we did end up getting showed up exhausted from their last job. What was supposed to take 4 hours took over 6 hours, the guys were dog tired in the middle of the summer heat, and we had to make two different trips to storage (which wouldn’t have happened had they sent the right truck at least).

The moving crew said they were told by dispatch that this was just a simple “storage unit clear-out”. In fact, it took so long that they were even going to send a crew who just finished a job in RALEIGH to us to help finish things up! Just ridiculous!

Add on top that I am now being sent a packet of paperwork to fill out to claim my damages for things broken/scuffed up.

Not pleased and hope someone else doesn’t make the same mistake as me!
