I hired Mr. Walker to handle my DUI. There were many discrepancies in my case and Mr. Walker kept postponing my case until he finally stated there was nothing to do but plead guilty. Thankfully my conscience knew better and I sought another opinion. The new lawyer was able to get the charge completely dismissed and for almost half of what Mr. Walker charged. Mr. Walker stated he would return a portion of the flat fee. He sent me an itemized bill charging for many different items that were not necessary for the case, including his drive time to continue a case that could easily have been continued via phone call and mailing a document. No agreement was ever signed by me. Mr. Walker seems to make up his own prices based on his needs, and he completely missed the fact that the case was dismissed due to jurisdictional issues.
