Westridge Middle School is governed by Grand Island Public Schools. Located in Grand Island, Neb., the middle school provides learning opportunities to students in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, math, science and social studies. The school s sports activities include football, volleyball, basketball, track and field and swimming. It also organizes a range of extracurricular events, including drama, chess, math counts, Science Olympiad, invention convention, fishing, geography bee and spelling bee. Westridge Middle School staffs a speech pathologist, translator, behavior specialist, nurse, media assistant, educational consultant, psychologist, special educator and math and language arts coaches.
