Family Birthplace is a medical facility that features a level II newborn intensive care nursery, private Jacuzzi tub and sleeping accommodations. The facility offers massage therapy, aromatherapy, and labor and delivery guidance and monitoring services, as well as medical and anesthesia options. It provides childbirth and parenting education classes that include information related to car seat safety and postpartum care. Family Birthplace also offers sibling classes. The facility encourages families to participate in children care planning processes. In addition, it manages Chat Time, which is an informal support group for breastfeeding mothers. Family Birthplace is managed by Valley View Hospital.
