Hello, I'm Kathie! I am a retired mother of 3 grown children who are serving/have served in the military, grandmother to 11 adorable grandchildren and the wife of a firefighter, paramedic and auxiliary deputy sheriff, a proud member of Soldier's Angels and Fur-Mommie to 7 four-legged fur-babies.When I bought my machine, I asked my daughter to help me start marketing. I couldn't believe how many orders came in so she (Lizz) purchased her own machine and now we are embroidering together! I enjoy couponing sewing and giving back to the soldiers for all they do for us! My hobbies started one day when my son called my from Afghanistan about the soldiers who didn't have anyone at home to write them or send care packages. I started couponing and picking up essential necessities for the soldiers to ship to them overseas. I really enjoyed what I was doing and eventually took up embroidering so I could send personalized towels, blankets, shirts and anything I could embroider to the soldiers or to raise money for more care packages.My daughter has encouraged me to start branching out with my embroidery in order to raise more money for care packages, supply donations for the schools my grandchildren attend and rescues for the homeless animals.I have an amazing machine and can embroider just about anything once I find the pattern but right now, I'm working with towels.My daughter has gone through all my pictures and put them in albums for me so you can see a little of what I'm capable of. Please ask me if you have something in mind you would like and I'll be more than happy to accommodate your needs!!I have a supply of towels from Kohl's (The Big Ones) that I pick up when they have a good deal (which is included in my pricing). I prefer to use these towels as I have found that they don't shrink when washed causing the design to become shrunken or distorted as well.If you have something else you would like embroidered, I would be happy to take a look at it and give you special pricing for it, just ask!Please feel free to message me if you would like to place an order or have a question!
