Great fish fry! Nicer place than it was before...with a new owner who really wants to please and who 'cleaned up' the place for the better.

What a change for the better! Still the same great fish fry, but what a cleaner, nicer place than before, and with brand new bathrooms too!! Oh, and the new owner now has bottled wine, not just 'boxed' wine, and more choices of beer! The food is better, EVERYTHING is better! Thank You!!!!!!

We have always gone to "the Crows Nest" when it was' Mel's' Crow's Nest. We went there because it had a great fish fry. We've been back after it re-opened under the new ownership and we're happy to tell everybody that has ever been there before, that the fish fry is still the same great one it ever used to be ....it's the best yet. The new owner has cleaned up the place , put in brand new bathrooms, re-did the bar and put in new high bar tables and stools....and has added Prime Rib on Saturday nights! It's great! The Crow's Nest Tavern " lives on"!!! YaHoo!!!

We have had dinner at the new Crow's Nest Tavern three times since it opened under new management, February 19,2010. Each time we have been there we have experienced the same delicious fish fry, that this restaurant has always been noted for. We keep returning because we love it. Apparently others feel the same way, because it is always hugely busy. It is efficiently run, and the wait is never very long, plus you have the large bar area with bisto tables/chairs to have cocktails as you wait The new owners have done a fine job refurbishing/updating this formerly 'ragged' restaurant/bar from what it used to be. We always go on Friday nights when we are in Buffalo....lots of fun, nice people. We drive from Rochester because it's the best Fish Fry we've ever had.
