Every town should have one! The dogs are everything and more. The "served all day" sausage breakfast sandwich is wonderful!

When I moved to Gettysburg in 1996, the first place my dad took me was Ernies. It was on the way home from the airport that I had my first of many ERNIES dogs. And it is my hope you will try them as well. They also serve a full menu of items beside dogs, if you have a picky eater in your group.

Best hot dogs ever.

If your in Gettysburg, stop in this place, its really cool, its like a diner from the 50's. They have the best hotdogs around! The waitresses are awesome! You can even buy T-shirts and souveniers with their logo on them, (at least you could when I was there)

If you want the best burger (or dog) and ff's at an awesome price, this is the place to visit. They have a special "chilli" sauce/onions that make these the BEST!!! The french fries are real potatoes -- very laid back atmosphere and unpretentious but again the best in burgers/dogs. When in G-burg you must visit. They don't take credit cards BUT for the price you probably have change laying around that would cover your meal. Motto is "we have an agreement with the bank, we don't extend credit and they don't sell burgers." You won't be disappointed!!!!!
