Etowah Foot Specialists offers everything from treatment of fungal toenails to reconstructive foot surgery. Our mission is to serve the needs of our patients and address their concerns with passionate and competent care. Etowah Foot Specialists, Inc was started in April of 2007 by married couple Dr. Michael Chmielewski and Dr. Shannon Deaton. This summer, the couple will break ground for a new office at 230 South 4th Street in Gadsden. The couple graduated from William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Ill. Dr. Chmielewski earned his degree in 1992 and did his residency at Columbus-Cabrini Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Deaton earned her degree 3 years later in 1995, and completed her residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. The couple met at an office where they both worked and got married shortly after moving to Alabama. They have two daughters, Carson Leigh and Taylor Ann.
