This salon is one of the best in Frederick, this is true, but I think they have the potential to reach higher than that. The staff can be pleasant, but could use some work. I have been going here for well over 7 years and have seen the salon fail to evolve. There is tension between the staff. The shampoo bowls are extremely uncomfortable! The decor needs an extreme makeover & the guy at the front desk is loud & obnoxious. I have witnessed him over-stepping his bounds on several occasions. In fact, when I call, I hang up if he answers and call back another time when a more pleasant voice is on the other end. There is a bit of that typical catty attitude in the atmosphere and you sit there in your chair and ask yourself why? I am originally from O.C. CA and this is no O.C. salon! I believe the older woman who sits in the corner, who is an owner, has a lot to do with the problems, in that her employees emulate her attitude. I only go here for my stylist, if she leaves I am out of here!

a diamond in the rough! you wouldnt know from the outside, but what a fabulous salon. the stylists are wonderful,talented and highly skilled. the customer service is excellent. i have had the pleasure of having my hair done by several different stylists, and ALL were just what i wanted. i also received the best facial of my life from the spa director abby. very educated. sweet and most definetly relaxing (imagine what it feels like to be melted butter with beautiful glowing skin)... just the best hot stone massage from patrick as well. they both have magic hands! i received a gift card for my b-day for services, but am now a regular customer for my facials, massages and hair. also, just to get shampooed before your cut is a wonderful experience. my favorite salon in frederick. definetly visit this place. if you are going to spend your money, spend it here... where the staff knows what they're doing!
