General Info

Hi, my name is Elyse. I adore animals of all kinds but especially enjoy the love and bond that a dog brings to life. My dog (pictured above) has recently passed away (December 2015). She was a 14yr old golden retriever/lab mix who I had ever since she was a puppy and miss dearly. She was my first dog and the reason I now understand the love, joy, and companionship a dog has to offer. I have been volunteering at Life House for animals for over 6 years now. I graduated from Nash Academy Grooming School in Lexington Kentucky in May 2012. I decided to use my education to further care for the dogs at Life House and want to extend and bring beauty to the rest of the dogs in the community also. I'm very patient and kind to the dogs in my care. I don't believe in rushing to do as many dogs as possible, but rather spend the time making sure your pet is comfortable, happy, and looking their best.
