Legal in Framingham is a terrible disappointment. Because they no longer use tablecloths, as you look across the room, all you see is black hinges on every table (because they fold up for parties of 4). White tablecloths covered with a white square of paper would be SO much nicer. We had a reservation for an early dinner at 5:30 on a Friday night. It was very rushed. No sooner had my husband put down his soup spoon, the entrees arrived. There was no time to enjoy our cocktails and have some conversation. The feeling seems to be "get 'em in and get 'em out". Not to mention the waitress almost harrassing us to get our order.The food was also disappointing. My "baby" fried clams were so small they practically had no bellies at all. The french fries must have been sitting under a heating lamp for a long time; they were not cold, but they were not hot either. In fact, they were soggy. My husband's tuna, on the otherhand, was quite good, but his white rice was cold and sticky

This restaurant is average in food preparation and prices. Service is definitely below average. Was satisfied eating here but not the best experience I have had.
