- Fluoride TreatmentWe will always maximize your insurance benefits and file any claims on your behalf. You’ll still be responsible to pay any fees at the time of service, though most dental insurance will cover preventive care and restorative treatments, including twice-yearly hygiene cleanings, x-rays, and tooth extractions. If you do not have dental insurance, we encourage you to take advantage of our in-office membership plan. This plan requires that you pay an annual fee, which covers routine dental services for the year, including hygiene visits, fluoride treatment, and one emergency appointment.
- Dental SealantsWe ensure your smile remains healthy and beautiful long-term with preventive dental services. These can include oral cancer screenings, fluoride treatment, and sealants.
- FillingsComposite fillings are the more natural alternative to traditional amalgam fillings. These fillings are tooth-colored and restore strength and aesthetics after cavity treatment.
- VeneersIf one or more of your teeth has a cosmetic issue—it’s chipped, worn down, discolored, slightly crooked, or gapped—we can naturally enhance your smile with porcelain veneers. These restorations are custom-made to fit snuggly over the front portion of your teeth. They conceal imperfections behind the scenes while revealing attractive, straight teeth for you and others to see. We offer traditional, DURAthin®, and Micro-Thin® porcelain veneers in Fort Worth, TX and can help you find confidence in a beautiful, custom-designed smile!
- CrownsNo one ever wants to discover that they’ve damaged their natural tooth. You’re most likely thinking it’ll take multiple trips to the dentist and uncomfortable appointments to get your tooth back in shape. While this is true for many dental offices, it’s not the case at Fort Worth Cosmetic & Family Dentistry! Here, we offer dental crowns in Fort Worth, TX using CEREC same-day technology. Our cosmetic dentists are trained in this design software and milling technology, with the artistic skill to create beautiful, custom-made restorations. In just one appointment, we can restore your chipped, cracked, discolored, or worn-down tooth—no lengthy appointments, uncomfortable temporaries, or hassle!
- BridgesYou will need to heal for a few months after surgery before receiving your final dental implant bridge. During this recovery phase, your jawbone and bone grafts are fusing around the dental implant post, a process known as osseointegration. This integration of bone and titanium is what creates a durable foundation for your new teeth. While you’re healing, Dr. Green will design your custom dental bridge to meet your smile goals and provide the greatest aesthetics and function. This bridge is made from a strong, durable material that we’ll color match to your existing teeth. Our goal is to have your dental implant bridge be indistinguishable from the rest of your smile! When your healing phase is complete, you’ll return to our office to have your temporary bridge removed and your final restoration attached. With proper care and maintenance, your new implant supported bridge will last for many years!
- Dental BondingWe repair minor chips, cracks, and gaps between teeth with dental bonding. This color-matched cosmetic treatment returns an imperfect tooth to proper shape and size.
- Restorative DentistryOur team is comprised of dedicated and skilled dentists, treatment and patient coordinators, dental assistants and hygienists, and lab assistants. Each of our team members provides attentive and experienced care. Our dentists have years of experience and training and spend many hours in continuing education each year. As a result, we can provide state-of-the-art care for more complex cases needing full mouth rehabilitation and dental implants. Additionally, by remaining at the forefront of cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry, we know which technologies provide better dental experiences for our patients—and invest in them continuously.
- Root Canal TreatmentWe don’t ever want our patients to experience tooth pain, so if you find yourself suffering from a toothache, contact us right away. Pain in or around your tooth, especially if it’s chipped or cracked, is almost always a sign that it’s decayed or infected and needs professional treatment. Root canals are the conservative and comfortable way we treat infection in your tooth. Though they have a bad reputation, root canals are actually designed to relieve your tooth pain, not cause more discomfort! Best of all, the goal of our root canals in Fort Worth, TX is to preserve natural teeth so that extraction isn’t necessary. After a short, comfortable procedure, you can be on your way with a healthy, natural smile free from pain and infection!
- Gingivectomy and GingivoplastyA gingivectomy using a scalpel involves cutting away the diseased gum tissue to eliminate or reduce the periodontal pocket depth. With our diode laser, we can remove this damaged tissue and burn away the bacteria on and around the teeth to efficiently treat gum disease.
- Deep CleaningScaling and root planing is the first step for treating gum disease. During this non-surgical “deep cleaning,” we’ll first remove the bacteria and calculus from the teeth and periodontal pockets. Next, we’ll smooth the tooth surfaces to discourage future buildup and to help healthy tissues reattach to the teeth, reducing pocket depth.
- DenturesWe understand that if you’re missing all your teeth, or are about to, it can make everyday living incredibly difficult and leave you feeling self-conscious and even in physical pain. If you’re in this situation, we can help with custom-made and natural-looking modern dentures in Fort Worth, TX. Dentures are the long-standing teeth replacements that can get you back to a functional, active life by replacing all your teeth in one or both arches. Today’s dentures are highly aesthetic and built to fit the natural contours of your mouth—and are at a price you can afford. Our experienced dentists have years of cosmetic training and will design your dentures to fit comfortably in your mouth and give you an attractive smile that looks completely natural.
- Dental ImplantsFamily dentistry. High-end cosmetics. Implant rehabilitation. Welcome to the practice that does it all—and keeps it personal, so you feel right at home.
- Oral SurgeryOne of our staff members will compile your medical and dental history during your first visit. We will then examine your teeth and gums, screen you for oral cancer, take x-rays of your teeth as needed and complete a TMJ (temporomandibular or jaw joint) exam. After we review your dental profile, we will discuss a diagnosis with you. If treatment such as a root canal (endodontics), braces (orthodontics) or oral surgery is needed, we will plan to treat you in our office or refer you to a specialist. We will discuss your options for treatment and fee payment and help you determine the best plan to fit your needs.
- Osseous SurgeryOsseous surgery, for severe cases of periodontal disease, involves flapping the gum tissue back away from the teeth and bone. Then the area is cleared of all bacteria and plaque buildup, the damaged bone is reshaped, and antibiotics are placed in the periodontal pockets. Diseased tissue is cut away and the healthy gums are sutured back around the teeth to support healthy healing.
- Tooth ExtractionsAt our office, you won’t have to worry about tooth extractions being painful or scary! - OrthodonticsInvisalign clear aligners have many distinct benefits when compared to conventional metal braces. For one, Invisalign is made from nearly invisible plastic, so it’s both discreet and metal-free. Invisalign aligners are also removable, so you won’t have to restrict your diet or modify your oral hygiene routine during treatment! Many of our patients report that their Invisalign treatment was very comfortable, too. The aligners are made of smoothed plastic, so they won’t irritate the gum tissue, tongue, or lips. Invisalign treatment is a simple orthodontics process that’s easy to follow for almost all patients.
- Invisalign OrthodonticsCrystal has been with FWCFD since she graduated from Weatherford College in 2011. Crystal works closely with our Invisalign patients to help ensure they achieve a smile that they are proud to show off. Her favorite thing about working at FWCFD is the abundance of technology that helps us serve our patients in the most efficient way possible. Outside of work, Crystal enjoys live music and traveling to the mountains with her husband, Clayton, and their Jack Russell Terrier, Toast.
- BracesAre you interested in straightening your teeth but don’t want to wear traditional braces? You can choose the discreet alternative—Invisalign®—instead! Invisalign uses clear aligners instead of a bracket-and-wire system to move teeth into proper position. For teens and professional adults, this nearly invisible alternative to braces is a great option. Our dentists are certified to provide Invisalign in Fort Worth, TX and are passionate about the transformative effects this treatment can have on our patients without the need for metal braces. We encourage you to take advantage of our virtual smile consult and get personalized recommendations from our skilled dentists before you schedule your appointment!
