Chase High School operates several departments including the career technical education, distance learning, English, fine arts, foreign language, health and P.E., instructional support, mathematics, science and social studies, among others. Based in Forest City, N.C., the school organises various fall, winter and spring sports as well as Beta Club, FFA, Key Club, Quiz Bowl and Speech and Debate. Chase High School is a part of Rutherford County Schools, which enrolls around 9,000 students. It manages around four high schools, three middle schools, and eleven elementary schools. The system also has pre-school programs, after school care programs, a middle grade alternative program and a high school alternative program.
