Provided by YP.comMy daughter has danced here for a few years. Kendra is an amazing teacher but the owner and her husband Jim is very rude. Kendra gets put into the middle of everything because Lisa (the owner) is never there or doesn't show up when she knows that someone needs to talk to her. You only see Lisa a few times during the year... once on the first day of class to collect tuition, again at the production fee time and then again to pass out recital tickets. She doesn't stay long at all. If you ask for a receipt you can forget it... she will tell you to use your check. She doesn't do receipts. She is always downgrading the children. I don't mind correcting a child as everyone needs to have constructive criticism and know how to deal with it but when you tell an 9 year old that a 5 year old is dancing better than them and they should be ashamed of themselves.. that is uncalled for. She is not the kind of role model that I want for my children. Unfortunately we have left the studio and we are sad because the girls loved Kendra but several families have decided to leave due to the behaviors of Jim and Lisa.

poorly run business; class levels and scope of what each class will learn is not defined; fees are expensive, can get more training at better school for less money. Costs are not disclosed, receipts not provided for services. Studio is in poor condition; students are screamed at to tears, enrollment decreases year after year, serious dancers this school is not for you!

I danced at this school for eight years. I believe that it is an excellent starting point for young dancers, but is not very suitable for older dancers. The recitals are very nice, and Ms. Bethany and Ms. Kendra are wonderful teachers! I would reccomend this studio to parents with children between the ages of two and ten. I had a good six years, and then I became uninterested and felt like I wasn't being challenged enough anymore, and was not learning all of the things my friends were learning at other studios. It is a bit pricy, and the cost includes tuition every few months, a $200 recital fee, and costume fees (about $50-$100 each costume). There is not much variety in the stylings used in dances. It is ballet, tap, and jazz. This school is now advertising that they offer hip-hop, but it is simply jazz with a few hip-hop like costumes and moves. Overall, I had a pretty good experience at this school, and it is very suitable for young dancers!!! :)
