Office of the Administrator is governed by Raritan Township, which is located in Flemington, N.J. The township covers an area of more than 38 square miles. It has a population of over 19,800 residents. Raritan Township operates police, engineering, planning and zoning, public works, finance, court, construction, emergency management and recreation departments. Its fire department is a fire and hazardous material response agency that provides a range of fire protection and hazard services in order to protect life, property and the environment. It also operates Flemington-Raritan First Aid & Rescue Squad that offers rapid response first aid and rescue services. It also governs various elementary, middle and high schools, as well as community colleges.
