      Established in 1994, Augusta Health is a hospital offering an array of health care services and treatments. Based in Fishersville, Va., it offers treatments for various diseases and ailments, including cancer, diabetes, cardiac conditions and respiratory diseases, to name a few. The hospital also offers facilities such as birthing suites, nursing treatment center, wound healing clinic and rehabilitation. Augusta Health provides emergency as well as non-emergency medical transportation to physician offices, medical centers, nursing home facilities, dialysis, and radiology treatments that require ambulance or medical wheelchair transportation. It is engaged in a number of community health initiatives and has won awards such as HealthGrades 2010 Patient Safety Excellence Award and the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence.
