I'm on my way back here...... The man who helped me when I was poisoned with Pesticides (which are now banned) back in 1989.. It caused a 'domino' effect in my health and was a surreal 10yr span of learning how to cleanse, how to get well, how to 'listen' to my inner voice and do whatever I needed to do to LIVE. Yes, it was THAT serious, THAT touch and go... I have been searching for a Medical Doctor who was interested enough, cared enough or even had compassion and was willing to "LISTEN" to me.. I have finally found an Internist/PCP who will accept Medicaid and accept ME.... The string of doctors I've seen in the past couple of years, saw me once, handed out a few Rx's and pushed me on my way as they said that I was "too complicated, too sick, or they just failed to have the knowledge to untangle the mess that has enveloped my life and kept me down all these years." My domino's continue to fall and the Medical profession as a whole; doesn't give two cents... It's all about the money and "O-Buma-care" just made things worse. Therefore, I kept getting pushed along as they told me I needed an Internist to untangle my web... I know enough about medicine to know this is truth. Finding one who was willing to accept Medicaid and work 'with' me was the mountain I was up against.. I found one, FINALLY, and will be seeing him tomorrow.. My inner voice is telling me that I need a Multi-Disciplinary approach on my journey to wellness. Dr Larry Weeks offers Chiropractic, Acupuncture as well as other Oriental Medicinal approaches. Why I ever stopped going before is beyond me.... life has a tendency to get in the way of 'self-care'... So... I'm getting back on track as I found out that Medicaid will pay for this... I want to be as well as possible because I have much to 'give' to the souls I birthed into this earth. I need to do this for ME, if I want to be there FOR THEM. So sometimes 'being selfish' is actually a journey one takes on the road to 'being self-LESS....
