Highly recommend these professionals. We needed an upgrade to dad's 1940's home. They not only did an exceptional job, they coordinated with my schedule and were very kind to Dad who is 93 and has Alzheimer's. Red and Bob took care of all the details; Chris did excellent work and cleaned up after; and, the price was very reasonable. I have zero complaints about any aspect of the project.

The owner I originally consulted and the technician I spoke to on the phone to help clarify my bill were both extremely nice and took time talking with me. However, the work contracted was not done (an estimate was given along with a bill for "trouble shooting") and I was charged $270.00 for 2 hours which was the time it took for the technician (who I did not speak with at any time) to ascertain the problem...which ended up being that fixtures needed to be replaced!!! The electrician could not fix anything except for a pull string on an overhead light in the laundry room. Basically, no electric work was done (less the pull string) and I have been charged $270.00.

I am very dissatisfied with Direct Current; dissatisfied for having to pay for a service call that did not remedy the problems I called for (other than the pull string), dissatisfied for being billed for the "trouble shooting" that apparently was so time consuming that it cost 270.00 (2 hours); and dissatisfied with my overall experience. I am hesitant to call ANY electrician because the ownerof Direct Current was so nice on the phone but I am left, after the fact, so frustrated and still in need of electric service.

Again, seemingly cordial people, but I don't think I will contract them again.
