I had my eclipse engine built by southworth(2.0 turbo, that NOW runs), when the owner, i think his name is carl, called me to tell me that my engine was done, i went to pick it up my engine to find out that when they put the pistins in, they made a big scratch in my cylinder wall. when i asked carl if he would fix it, he told me that he would have to charge me for another rebuild. after a law suit, carl had to pay in full all my money, and then i took it to his better competetor, steve performance in dexter, some one who knows what they are doing. Southworth is not a professional shop, and if they make a mistake, they want you to pay for it out fo your own money.

If Karl wasn't running the place, bussiness would probably be a lot better. Karl doesn't care if he does a bad job on somebody's engine. All he cares about is the money that he gets from ripping people off. What a prick!!!!!!!!

When rebuilding my engine in my mustang, I came to karl at southworth for machining and parts. Karl himself sold me the wrong camshaft, and by doing so, it fould up all my sensor under the hood. When I brouth this to KARL's attention, he was very rude and very unprofessional. Then with the $600.00 mechanic bill that i got stuck with, Karl would not in the least try to honor this.He told me that it was "my chioce that I took it to thew mechanic's."His exact words were, "what do you want me to do about it?"So guess what, I got a lawyer to take on this case, and the outcome... I WON!! karl had to pay out of his own pocket what I would need to run this cam.Hope you had fun eating this one, Karl!
