I used to love this restaurant as well but it is true that the service has gone downhill. I am disabled and like to have someone pick something up for me there once in a while and at least 50% of the time they leave things off the order. Today when I get my salad there is no salad dressing, no plastic ware and they did not include the cinnamon bread that they offered with it. When I called to share my concern I was told the person picking it up should've checked the order. I suggested that perhaps the person filling the order should have done thier job.

there April 17, 2015. Handed a menu and then informed they had no chicken, no steak, no link-sausages, no mac and cheese, and no salmon. Ordered blt, (toast burnt) potato soup ( potatoes chunky and hard) coffee (cold). When paying for the meal no one asked me if everything was ok....duh. I gave it one star because it was a nice quiet place to eat, no one hardly there....hmmmm

Sadly enough this Restaurant used to be my family's favorite place to eat, however the service has over the past year turned terribly bad. Last two visits, had the same waitress with the same terrible service. Took over 45 minutes to get food. Appears not to have enough cooking staff and/or good age ratio within employees. It is sad that this great family restaurant is at the mercy of what boils down to the almighty dollar. They would rather pay less than minimum wage than to spend a little more and hire reliant, hardworking individuals with great work ethics. Our family will not be visiting this Elkview restaurant in the future

Bob Evans over all has deteriorated a lot in recent years nationwide. Their dinner menu has really went down hill. They can't even make a good simple meat loaf. I've traveled the USA and eaten in all kinds of restaurants, but they serve the worst meat loaf I have ever tasted. The waiters and waitresses at this particular restaurant look unkept and unclean. Most dress in dirty looking baggy jeans and dirty looking black tee shirts. They are friendly enough, but look too dirty to be handling food.When I eat somewhere I want the people in the kitchen and the people out front to be clean, crisp looking, and neat. I don't want to be served or have my food cooked by people that look like they were digging ditches before they came to work. Bob Evans USED to be a good restaurant, but the only meals That have stayed at fairly good quality are the breakfast meals. Even they are priced much too high.

I was in your restaurant Monday March 4, 2013 and ordered the fruit platter. When it arrived there was very little fruit, I asked why and was told that was the way it was. Showed the waitress the picture on the menu, when I received my bill, they had the kiddie fruit platter on my bil. Nothing was ever said about ordering from the child menu. I was very unhappy with the service and the fruit. The waitress never stopped to see if we needed anything we had to stop her to get something else.
