Sher Khan Karate has been a fixture in Elk Grove, California since 1995. Owned by Mr. Christopher Tanaka, a fourth degree Black Belt has strived to be a continuous positive environment for the community. Our Goal for every student is to teach respect, self-discipline, confidence, leadership, goal-setting, and self-defense by providing a positive atmosphere that promotes learning safely for both children and adults.Each class is geared to engage the student no matter which physical level of belt rank they are in. Each rank has a structured schedule. Private lessons are available. Our trained staff is always ready to answer questions and guide each student on their own Black Belt journey.In addition there is also Kenpo Fitness at Sher Khan Karate! This fitness program combines martial arts basics with cardio, strength training, and pad work for a complete body workout.
