We just spent four days and nights in the mountains on the beautiful Watauga River where there were lots of fly fishermen. The cabins were decorated tastefully in fish/mountain motif. The design, layout, and appointments made for an elegant, yet relaxed interior. The porch overlooked the river valley and Bee Cliff beyond. Seating was ample for morning coffee, or just enjoying the peace.The hosts were friendly and checked to see that we had everything we needed as they told of area attractions. We even had a fire pit with starter wood and a generous supply of wood to last all our visit and more.If you are In the area, do yourself a favor and book a cabin at Bee Cliff Cabins. You will be in for a treat.
