      Western Technical College, located in El Paso, Texas, offers a variety of technical programs, including massage therapy, microcomputer technology, Health information technology, medical assisting, performance tuner, diesel technology and automotive technology. Its microcomputer technology program includes training in various subjects, such as electronics, applied electronics, digital electronics, advanced electronics and communications technology. The institute's medical assisting program provides training to students in a variety of medical office procedures and laboratory techniques, such as hemodialysis fundamentals, injections, vital signs, urinalysis, phlebotomy and assistance with minor surgery and emergency situations. Western Technical Institute offers training in various office procedures including typing, transcription, word processing, patient data collection, bookkeeping, billing and collection.
