I was pleased with BFS servicing my furnace in the past, so when I began considering air conditioning for my 1927 boiler/radiator heated home I contacted them again. Doug Dill came out to evaluate my home and discuss equipment options. I had a mini split cooling with a heat pump option installed by BSF this June. I was pleased with the timeliness and quality of the installation. These past humid July days I have been happy to have a quiet, efficient whole house replacement for my window AC unit. It will be nice to use the quick warm up part of the unit in place of waiting for radiators to heat the entire house on cool fall mornings. I have been very happy with the unit Doug suggested and with BSF's work, The price was very fair. I would recommend BSF for any heating or cooling needs.

BFS has helped me out with both a heating and cooling issue. Last winter when we arrived back in Minneapolis after the holidays our house was cold. Luckily it was not too cold as the heat must have only been off less than a few hours. We called BSF and their service man; Doug Dill came out within the hour and fixed the problem. It turned out the over temperature sensor had tripped and was quickly reset. Doug charged us the minimal as it was a simple fix. More recently our AC went out just before leaving on vacation. A call to BSF brought Doug out again. It turns out some condensation had shorted out a control board. Doug found the board that day and called to let us know he found it. He installed it the next day. He also found the source of the condensation and fixed that as well. The charge for parts and labor were well with in reason and we were very happy with the service.
