Doctor Boothe and Doctor Haymore are absolutely wonderful very loving and caring towards the animals very knowledgeable about the animals and do not mind explaining to the owners unsure if this was just eating the doctors they are 5 stars but that's if you can get past the front desk staff. Very busy but very unorganized. Kinda rude Will take phone calls while having a line of pet owners trying to check in or check out. I was cut off mid sentence 3 times in one visit check in by the receptionist talking to other staff (not animal related) and answering phone calls. Had a few irritating things happen like wrong medicine sent home and switching up forms but I loved the doctors to much to switch but the latest incident may be a game changer. Called scheduled and had priced out my dogs boarding trip 2 months ago, Dropped my dog and food off for boarding never asked any questions they never asked the feeding instructions nothing. I called every day to check on them only for the respectionist to rush me off the phone telling me they where fine with no detail pick them up. My dog immediately went outside and Used the bathroom 5 times before getting in the car. Then was so thirsty he was liking the sides of a water bottle in the car and he still had food Let in his buff where they did not feed him that morning yet. Not saying they neglected him because benefits doubt maybe he just was worked up but definitely not like him kinda fishy but then found out they over charged me and refused to fix it due to them having to take out feed and water my dog on pick up day? Kinda the last straw with this staff. Ending this with the Doctors are Wonderful, Staff are definitely NOT!

Jerry Boothe is possibly the best vet that I have ever taken my babies to for care. Whether it was routine or life threatening, Dr. Boothe was always warm, compassionate, practical and supportive. Even if he isn't right down the street for you, this vet practice is well worth the drive!

On March 5,2012, I went with my son-in-law & daughter to take their dog Pilot to see Dr. Jerry Booth. Unfortunately, Pilot had cancer that was not treatable. He explained all options to us & my daughter and son-in-law made the decision to let Pilot go peacefully. Jerry gave us all the time we needed to say good-bye to Pilot (my grand-dog).When we were ready, he came in, explained everything he was going to do and what would happen. He was so compassionate, loving, caring, and gentle. He brought a beautiful blanket in, laid Pilot on it & he waited until we ready. He let Pilot leave this earthly world without pain and with dignity. He let us have all the time we needed with him & then he put him in this beautiful blue bag with angels on it & helped put him in the truck. Jerry and his entire staff was so wonderful to us all, they are the best in Rockingham Co. if not the state. We would like to say to Jerry & staff thank you so much for all you did for Pilot. One of the most balanced, compassionate veterinary teams that I have experienced in a long time. Most of the "return" patients are known by name and all receive a loving welcome. I recently had to go there with my 9 year old dog who had a quick growing tumor in her mouth. She was handled with true professionalism and compassion. Dr. Boothe calmly and clearly listed all of my options, offered me as much time as I needed for my decision and allowed me to be present for the whole process (as I just couldn't leave her alone at that time). Over the years, I have unfortunately had to go through this process with other animals, but never have been fortunate enough to have it handled in such a guilt-free and loving atmosphere.
