I only gave this place a one because you can't put zero. First the front desk staff are rude, I took my Saab 9-7x their twice for the same problem,they claim to have fixed it both times, but kept having the same problem, all of a sudden when they found out it was warranty work, they found the problem, my shift differial how do you miss something like this twice. Took it somewhere else didnt tell them anything knew what the problem was right away.This is the worst auto place I have ever been to I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. BEWARE!!!

THE DAMN WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE WILL NEVER GO BACK

Went to this place for an oil change and they were too lazy to figure out what type of oil was needed for my vehicle. Advertising $9.99 oil change and I believe they just didn't want to do it. An oil change is an oil change. They said they have every type of oil there is, so I couldn't figure out what the problem was. I would never let a customer leave without doing everything to help. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

the absolute worst place that I have ever been to. They try to bait you into getting all kinds of service/work done. A bunch of smooth talkers.Got me once and that's it. Would never go there again no matter what.

I took my car in for an oil change and asked them to see if anything was going on (it's an old car and wasn't sounding all that happy).  They figured it out, told me, gave me a quote and then didn't use any scare tactics or pressure me.  They told me honestly that some of the work didn't really need to be done and then some was more urgent.  That's a very different experience than I've gotten at other places!!  I will be back!!

When i first went here I was 19 years old with my first car and i wanted EVERYTHING fixed in it and had the money to do so. All Star could have taken me and my pockets to the cleaners but they never did. I wanted to fix things in that car that were completely unnecessary but they always explained to me how unnecessary it was as opposed to doing the repair. Now I am 31 and will always be loyal. Plus I have sent friends there and they have nothing but good to say ( my mother especially). I have sent friends and family there for years. They are such car geeks that they research them in their down time and completes your sentence when you call in regarding a problem. They already knows what the issue is and can always fix it. They taught me the value in NOT using after market parts on certain repairs but using quality (brakes) parts. I trust them whole heartedly. They have helped me out over the years and more-so recently and i appreciate them a ton! They know repair trends on vehicles and is always there to help. Honest, competent, trustworthy, affordable and a MECHANIC!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are looking for average service I wouldn't go here because All Star is the best around. Most honest hard working mechanic in the area. It's hard to walk out of a repair shop 100% satisfied but I always do here.

I took a Prius in for a pre-purchase inspection. I was willing to buy the car, but wanted to know about any pending issues that might be costly down the road. They were incredibly thorough, and saved me a lot of money. The inspection itself cost less than a quarter of what I expected to pay, and after examining the car for twenty minutes, they already had a list of potential issues. Had I bought the car, I could have expected to pay another $2000 in repairs. They also caught the dealer in a couple of outright lies ("brand new tires" and the claim that the air conditioning simply needed to be re-charged) and took the time to test drive it with me. Not so good car, great mechanic. I didn't mind at all spending a little money (very little money!) to save a lot. Trustworthy and friendly--I had a good feeling right from the start.

When my trusted mechanic in Ann Arbor recently retired, I heaved a great sigh. I'd been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I wasn't so sure I'd be able to find another mechanic that I could trust with my (now bearded grandpa of a) Honda. But, thanks to Yelp, I found All Star right here in my hood! The staff are amazing. AMAZING. Honest and up front, great work, great price! A few weeks back I feared I had a short in my electrical system as my headlights suddenly went out right after we replaced the bulbs. Um, so it was just a pair of bum bulbs BUT All Star also sanded and polished the plastic casings. Now my headlights sparkle for the first time in a long while! Called this morning because my idle was painfully LOUD and he was able to get me in today. It turned out that I needed a new alternator and belt. The car was ready 3-4 hours later. Epic turnaround! The garage looks like you want a garage to look like too, lots of tools, machines and parts. Staff who know what they're doing.

I had a great expirience. Got my brakes done. No up-sell. Price was fair and service was fast. No complaints here! Will return for an oil change soon.
