Terrible. This is the mechanic shop that ou hear horror stories about. Car broke down out of town. Incorrectly diagnosed the car. Charged my credit card for "storage" they never told me about. Also tried to charge me 900.00 for a 200.00 uhaul rental!

We were in town for my grandfather's funeral. It was close to the holidays and of course our car died. We were towed to Tice's and found lodging for the night. It was nice of them to put us first the next day. I'll give them a few stars because I did appreciate that. Unfortunately, it cost us over 500 dollars to have a fuel pump replaced. My husband told them repeatedly that he didn't believe it was the fuel pump. After they replaced it, the car started back up. My husband reminded them that he had stalled out before and let the car sit and then later it started back up. So, the car was running and we returned home (another part of the state). A week later the car stalled and wouldn't start again. Our local mechanic replaced the oxygen sensor. Total cost $161. Frustrating to lose that much money so close to Christmas while visiting for a funeral, even more frustrating to find out that it could have cost much less.
