I have been with the stylists at Shelley's for nearly 5 years now and love the service!! I am not one to keep up with the newest styles very well and with these ladies I don't need to worry, I always walk out of there with a new stylish cut and fantastic rich colour. I can not bear the thought of ever having to go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and well educated, attending trainings in NYC, etc. frequently. I also like to take advantage of all the other services offered and am always appeciative of the extra effort put forth to squeeze me in for an emergency blow-out or flat iron on a Friday or Saturday. I would absolutely recommned this salon and have never left without my stylist having me look at my cut and colour and make sure I was satisfied, as I always am.

I am new to the area and decided to give this place a try. I was very unhappy with the quality of the haircut I received. I'm really not picky but it was completely unacceptable. The salon is dimly lit and I wasn't able to see how uneven my hair was until I got home. I went back in and politely told them that I wasn't happy and instead of nicely trying to make it right, they immediately became defensive and rude. I understand that you are not always going to get a perfect haircut the first time with a stylist and I would have happily given her another try. But I will never go back there after the way the receptionist and the other stylist treated me. And I will not be recommending the salon to any of my friends. In fact, I will gladly share my bad experience. Customers are the people who keep a business running. We're the ones doing you a favor by visiting your salon -not the other way around so you'd better rethink the way you treat us. I would not recommend this salon.
