We went there just before 7pm and it was a NIGHTMARE! There were empty tables but not cleaned and they were too busy taking carry out orders to care! I found a waiter and asked for a table for 2. He finally bussed it but It hadn't been wiped off. We got tired of waiting after 15 min. so we sat down at the table after getting our own menus, silverware and napkins. We used a napkin to wipe up the wet spots! About 10 min. later we finally got our drinks. Then after 10 more min. our food order was taken. By this time, the restaurant was full and everyone was waiting on food! At 7:50 we asked about our food to be told that there were alot of carry out orders! At 8:00 we were told that they had a lot of fajita orders! When the family of 4 across from us got their food when their wait had not been nearly as long as ours we had enough! We got up and told the young man we were leaving, which we did! The final straw was the fact that none of the workers really cared! We will never go back!

Great food, could use a bit more waiters because of the delay in getting drinks and checking to see If we were satisfied with everything, but other then that was more then satisfactory.

on our last visit, we used to go more than once a month, our bill came to at least ten dollars higher than usual, even though we had the exact same items as our previous visits. When asked, no reason was given, just a shrug of the shoulders.

Grew up in southwest. This is like home. Not texmex fried junk with tabasco sauce!
Try anything on the menu you won't be disappointed.

I HAVE RECENTLY MOVED TO DUNNELLON AND THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE TO GO TO GAINSVILLE OR OCALA FOR MEXICAN FOOD BUT TO MY SURPRISE I FOUND THIS GREAT OUT OF THE WAY RESTAURANT.

YUM!!!!!! Best Mexican food outside of Mexico! Best restaurant in Dunnellon! Very nice price, dinners $5 - 9. Chips and salsa are awesome. My favorite are the cheese and onion enchiladas. A must do if in Dunnellon for lunch and Dinner.

Awesome food, Awesome service, and an Awesome atmosphere! This is a great place is you are in the mood for mexican! I rate it better than most of the chain restaurants that serve mexican...El Toreo has NOTHING on Don Pepe!

I love this mexican food. My husband and I can split an appetizer and get two reg drinks and walk out spending $20 and stuffed. And we love the free chips and salsa....yummy. Its our favorite place to go not only inexpensive but great.
