Like the gym for the most part but customer service is lacking. I went tonight with my two children and I don't know if it was the woman at the front desk not understanding what I was saying or what but she wouldn't let my son in which seemed odd. She also kept saying he needed to be 18 but I was told when I signed up that as long as I was the adult on the account my children age 13 and over could workout with me. Plus the two guys standing behnd the blonde girl at the counter seemed to be ready for action which seemed a bit much. It was all really confusing and this may have been my last straw as far as membership with the gym. I wanted to do something with my kids and it turned into a mess.
Golds Gym in Dundalk is nothing more than a Corporate Rumor Mill that employees some very unprofessional fitness consultants. Business is routinely conducted by enabling their employees to harass, bully & publicly humiliate innocent members... I know this because I filed a complaint and I was retaliated against less than 8 hours after I filed my complaint, what a coincidence!!! After being a member for nearly 5 years and after spending thousands of dollars on personal training this I was was treated.
STAY AWAY: The facilities are below industry standards, No toilet paper in bathrooms, No hair driers in locker rooms and NOT TO MENTION, THE MOST DISGUSTING TANNING BEDS YOU WILL EVER STEP INTO. If you want a gym membership at an establishment with poor client relations where you will be stared at and whispered about by immature staff members than Golds Gym is the place for you!!!
